After entering Vet Charity Challenge for the first time last year, Team 387 Va-Va-Voom felt inspired to compete again in this year’s contest – and have already donned trainers in anticipation! And Rachel and Hamish have doggy training companions to help them run faster too! Over 50 teams have already signed up to compete at Pewsey in Wiltshire on Saturday 27th September: here veterinary practices and professionals from the UK Veterinary industry will test their physical endurance and mental agility in a bid to become top dog. Most importantly, though, teams enter to raise money for the Challenge’s animal charities which this year are Cats Protection, Hearing Dogs for the Deaf and SPANA, an animal welfare charity in support of working animals around the world. If you would like to sponsor Team 387 Va-Va-Voom we would be incredibly grateful – last year you helped us raise over £1000! We’ve almost reached £600, but would love to beat last year’s total and need your help! To make a donation, pop into the practice, or alternatively you can sponsor us online at www.virginmoneygiving.com/387vetcentre. Thank you so much for all those pennies donated to date that are keeping up our training morale!
