A big shout out to Lola who came in to see us in May for the removal of a cancerous lump (a soft tissue sarcoma) from her chest. With this type of cancer, it’s really important to be aggressive with surgery and to remove a significant margin from around the lump to ensure no cancerous tissue is left behind to prevent recurrence and subsequent spread.
Lola’s wound took a little time to heal and was helped along with regular application of medical grade Manuka honey. Here is beautiful Lola all better and cancer free!
