We had an unusual visitor yesterday! This kestrel was brought in by a passer-by, having been found by the side of the road looking very wet and bedraggled from the heavy rain. The kestrel was really bright and showed no sign of injury apart from a tiny cut to one leg. Kestrel is now resting and recuperating at a rescue centre. We hope it won’t be too long before this beautiful bird is back in the wild.
