We are delighted to welcome a second new Registered Veterinary Nurse to the 387 team in quick succession! Cody Hinton follows hot on the heels of Rachel Turner who joined us just last month, and takes our qualified nursing team to a new total of 8.
Cody brings a wealth of nursing experience from previous small animal practice. Qualifying in 2017, she was subsequently promoted to head nurse status before moving to a busy referral hospital to further hone her nursing skills. Responsibilities included monitoring anaesthesia, theatre work, radiography and patient nursing care and Cody was one of only a few nurses qualified to administer rehabilitative laser therapy.
In addition to her in-patient work, Cody also loves working with pet owners to help their pets stay in optimum health. In 2020, she was promoted to Senior Nurse at St George’s Bushbury practice in Wolverhampton with increased nurse consulting opportunity. Whilst Cody is experienced in running a wide range of nursing clinics, she is particularly interested in pet nutrition, was “nutrition champion” in her previous post and is currently studying for a Nursing Certificate in Small Animal Nutrition. We know Cody will be an excellent addition to the team and we can’t wait for her to get to know you and your pets!
