ORINOCO LOVES OUR CAT FRIENDLY CLINIC STATUS!
This is gorgeous kitten Orinoco who came in for his check up and vaccinations at 387 Vets with his five brothers and sisters. And had a quick nail trim while he was here too!
The maine coon kittens had their appointment with our vet Emma who holds an additional postgraduate Certificate in Feline Practice and runs our Cat Friendly Clinics. We know that cats can find a visit to the vets stressful. So to make your cat’s visit as stress free as possible, we have special cat friendly appointment times. These are blocks of consulting time specifically dedicated to cats. No dogs are booked in at this time to ensure the waiting room is as peaceful and quiet an environment as possible for both you and your cat.
Emma uses cat pheromones in her consulting room and on her hands during consults. These synthetic hormones mirror those released by cats when they mark territory or care for their young and help them feel more secure and relaxed. And she always gives lots of cat cuddles too!
