Huge congratulations to Jo who found out yesterday that she has passed her exams to become a Registered Animal Medicines Advisor (RAMA). From a customer service perspective, this means that you can now speak to Jo rather than being passed on to one of the clinical team for advice on a range of flea and worming treatments. And Jo now has authority to oversee the dispensing of medications which will speed up the dispensing process for appointment-generated prescriptions.
Jo enrolled on the RAMA course in 2019, with modules covering small animal anatomy, various illnesses and diseases that pets can contract, parasites and parasite prevention and general veterinary legislation. Jo was delighted to be able to finally sit her exams, postponed from summer 2020, in January. And even more delighted, after 5 hours of written exams and a 30 minute oral exam on Zoom, to have passed! Brilliant news!
