It was a sad day yesterday at 387 Vets, as we said goodbye to our vet Carole, who leaves to take up a position closer to her new home in Nottingham.
We are so grateful for all Carole’s hard work, compassion and investment into positive change over the 6 years she has been here. Carole introduced clinical auditing to help us measure and improve standards in practice, and has helped to shape our pain management protocols through her particular interest in monitoring and managing chronic pain. Having felt the benefit of acupuncture herself, Carole trained to be able to offer this service to pets as a complementary therapy, and has used acupuncture to help lots of four-legged friends enjoy a more mobile, better quality of life.
Outside the consulting room, it was Carole who first registered 387 Vets for the physically gruelling Vet Charity Challenge, where we raised over £3k for animal charities in three years, and she was also part of the team that planted over 100 lavender bushes around the practice carpark to help save the bees!
We will miss you hugely Carole, but wish you and your family all the very best for the next exciting stage in your lives!
