Big congratulations to our Clinical Director Hamish who has received confirmation from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) of the extension of his Advanced Practitioner status in Small Animal Medicine until 2025. Hamish is one of only 206 veterinary surgeons to hold this award!
Hamish was first awarded Advanced Practitioner status in 2015, having already gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Medicine earlier in his career. He reapplied in 2019, and after submission of significant evidence to the RCVS in addition to confirmation of the 50 hours of continuing professional development he must complete every year, he received the excellent news last week!
Retaining Advanced Practitioner status recognises Hamish’s knowledge, expertise and on-going professional development and training in his field. Great news for Hamish, 387 Vets and your pets!
