This beautiful little sparrow was brought in last week by a lady who had found him on her windowsill and we think he must have fallen out of a nest. When he arrived, his wings were stumps of feathers and he couldn’t fly, but what a change! He’s now at fledgling stage with beautiful feathers and is doing really well. Today he tested out his flying skills at work! Our student nurse Alanna has been looking after him in practice during the day and takes him home at night. It won’t be too long before little sparrow can join the other sparrows in her grandma’s garden. Lucky little bird!
