Today is World Animal Day and it’s celebrated around the globe in many different ways. The purpose of the day is to increase public awareness around the importance of good animal welfare and to improve education in this area. This recognition day enables the animal welfare organisations to come together and make a bigger collective noise about animal care issues. This is our registered veterinary nurse Cody on her trip to South Africa last month, where she saw an animal portfolio that was a little different to our visitors at 387 Vets! Here she is at sanctuary that takes in and cares for elephants that wouldn’t survive in the wild. Cody even got to give them breakfast! We are all incredibly envious!
