Our directors Hamish and Rachel are back at work this morning and buzzing after attending SPVS/ VMG Congress (the Society of Practising Veterinary Surgeons/ Veterinary Management Group Congress) at the end of last week in Wales. Not least because the event was opened by the amazing award-winning author and broadcaster Claire Balding, who also chaired sessions in Friday’s “Wellbeing in Practice” stream.
The annual event, which is the largest non-clinical veterinary congress in Europe, brings inspiring speakers together to support learning around wellbeing, culture, leadership, management and practice development and help practitioners drive positive change. And this year, for the first time, a lecture stream was dedicated to sustainability in practice and reducing our carbon footprint at work.
