A big shout out to our fantastic reception team on International Receptionists Day! Jo, Beth, Charlotte and Holly play a huge role in helping your pet get the veterinary care they need and in helping appointments to run smoothly. As well as managing the phones, booking appointments, meeting and greeting pet owners and managing transactions, their roles include putting up medications, managing stock, reminding pet owners about annual vaccinations, setting up parasite treatment home delivery, registering microchips, liaising with the clinical team with regard to chasing up external lab results, helping with cleaning rotas, helping clients with any queries and so much more! Being a veterinary receptionist is a role that requires understanding, compassion, warmth, excellent problem-solving skills, great organisation and a real love of pets! You can imagine how how delighted our reception team were that that cocker-poo puppies Geoff and Bob had time to stop for cuddles this morning. What a treat for International Receptionists Day!
