A big welcome to Renée Hopwood, who becomes the fifth member of our qualified nursing team at 387 Vets alongside Amy, Sharon, Sophie and Jodie. Renée qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2018 whilst working at a busy small animal practice in the West Midlands. Since then, her RVN role has been diverse, running nursing clinics, carrying out surgical and post-op nursing and even training as a clinical coach for student nurses. She’s no stranger to nursing pets outside work either, having taken on and hand reared her own dog after he was handed in at a previous practice as a 2-day old abandoned pup.
Whilst Renée’s first working day here was last week, it’s not the first time she’s been in theatre and in the consult room at 387 Vets. Similar to our vet Sam, Renée also came for work experience at the practice while she was still at school. We’re delighted to welcome you back, Renée, as a permanent member of the team!
