Jaxx’s owner brought him in thinking there was something wrong with his ears as he kept shaking his head. It was only when our vet Emma looked into Jaxx’s mouth that she found the real reason for his distress. He must have had a nibble on his owner’s wicker laundry basket at some point, as a piece of the basket had lodged itself into the roof of poor Jaxx’s mouth and by shaking his head, he had been trying to get it out. Thankfully Emma was able to remove the foreign body with forceps, and here is brave Jaxx with the offending article. Ouch!
