Rabbit Awareness Week continues!

It’s day 5 of Rabbit Awareness Week (RAW)! Make sure you check out Rabbit Awareness Week on Facebook and Instagram for heaps of great advice on rabbit welfare! Topics already covered this week include: Junior rabbits and the 5 essential welfare needs for a happy and healthy life; adult rabbits’ needs and information around neutering, grooming, bonding and health-related issues; and adaptations you may need to make for senior rabbits or OABs (Old Age Bunnies!).

Today, RAW are inviting owners to share stories and experiences of keeping rabbits, and you can ask RAW welfare team any questions you would like answering.

A big shout out to Pete who is the star of our photo today. Pete has been at 387 Vets in to be neutered and here he is recovering post-op in our little bunny incubator!

Neutering rabbits is important for many reasons. As well as bunny population control, neutering can eliminate or reduce certain negative behaviours and is essential for harmonious bonding. It can also prevent rabbits from developing reproductive organ cancers which can be fatal, so is vital for a long and healthy life!

To find out more, or to book your rabbit in for neutering, give us a ring on 01922 411755.
