Whisky was brought in to 387 Vets as a stray. Someone had found him and noticed he had his front leg caught through his collar, and when they cut the collar to release his leg, poor Whisky had some nasty, infected wounds where the collar had rubbed. We scanned him and as he was microchipped it wasn’t long before we could reunite Whisky with his delighted owners. They had recently moved and Whisky had been missing for three weeks! Whisky’s wounds were treated and dressed and are healing up nicely. We recommend all cat collars should be quick release to avoid injury.
