We were really excited to have Rob Hamilton of Mobile Surgical Mentoring on site last week to coach us on using our brand new laparoscopy equipment. As of 6th February, we will be offering spay patients the opportunity to have keyhole surgery as an alternative to a traditional spay op as the benefits to patients are huge. Recovery time is much shorter with keyhole surgery. Incredibly, dogs can return to full off-lead exercise after only 48 hours! Pets need little or no pain relief after they return home given that there is significantly less internal trauma. And wound access points are tiny, so external wound recovery time is also reduced.
