A big shout out to miniature schnauzer Rosie who came in to see us as an emergency. You can see why! The one year old was playing in the garden and managed to get a piece of wood lodged between her upper molars, just under the roof of her mouth. We were able to remove the foreign body conscious with a pair of forceps, and Rosie was lucky that there were no puncture wounds or any visible damaged to any soft tissue in her mouth, and her teeth were ok too. On extraction, the stake looked like half a wooden clothes peg. Not where you expect to find one of those! Well done Rosie for being such a brave girl!
